We think it's a great company and we would like
to take a few minutes to tell you about ourselves.
Back in 1969 the only widely available form of
storage was the conventional moving and storage
warehouse. This was not satisfactory since most
warehouses were in inconvenient locations, had
restricted access and expensive rates.
Thomas L. Brundage, one of the early pioneers
in the self-storage industry, recognized the need
for a better way of doing things, and in 1971
opened his first mini-storage project in San Antonio,
Texas.
The success of this first project has led to
the construction of 41 other properties and
growing,
making A-AAAKEY Mini Storage the largest independently
owned mini storage operations in the country.
In July 1998,
A-AAAKEY
Mini Storage proudly opened its first
new facility in 8 years. The “Taj Mahal” is a
state-of-the-art facility that marked our re-birth;
its innovative design has raised the standard
throughout the self-storage industry, winning
the honor of 1999 Facility Of The Year Overall
Winner. Its unique appearance, along with the
award winning “key sign”, has inspired
the remodel of our 35 existing structures, giving
us a uniform and recognizable look throughout
the country.
In April 2003 we did it again, being named 2003
Facility Of The Year Overall Winner with the
opening of our 41st property.
This facility makes use of over 35 years experience
in the
design
and building of self-storage properties. We feel
this property’s impressive appearance and
cutting edge security technologies provides our
customers “The Ultimate Self-Storage Experience”.

industry with over 40 properties and over 2.5
million square feet of rental space, and still
